The first time I heard Nowhere to Go But Up on a Zoom session, tears instantly came to my eyes. The song resonated deeply with where I was in life: I had no clue how to make things work, but I knew the only direction left was "up."
That connection came full circle when I met Mr. Marc Shaiman at a DGA screening. I’m not the type to chase big names for photos, but I needed a picture with him to honor the tears his music had evoked. Looking back, I feel so fortunate. What began as a love for soundtracks has led me straight into the heart of the film music community. I've had so much fun, and stories like this will last forever.
Every call sent out to the universe receives an answer. That is the beautiful reality I’ve experienced over the past few years.
